RE: Cleaning Pacifica's Throttle Body
ORIGINAL: dcotter0579 If you put it all back together correctly, the light should go out after a few trip cycles, ie, start, warm up, shut off, cool down. If you don't want to wait, go to Autozone and have them hook up their OBD scanner. Be sure to grab any codes before clearing in case something else is going on. Cheers |

Thank you so much for the info. I was able to do this job in 20 minutes and I have almost zero experience with an engine. It was amazing how much black carbon was in there. I am very happy to know that this forum exists. Much appriciated.

Gas Pedal Sticking
Very easy fix. Just used orange cleaner from the kitchen and some Q-Tips. Funny how Firestone and Chrysler service can't figure this one out...:eek:

Or does one rotate the cam which is the gas throttle to rotate the blades allowing one to directly rotate the blades? As it does look like it might be directly connected to the blades; at least that is what it looks like in the pictorial picture. |
see that big spring on the right this is still a manual system u press on the gas the buttery fly moves open the things on teh side are a TPS and an IAC motor nothing electrical about this throttle body.
