Default Floor/Defrost Air

Just signed up today to post this info that may help others.

Over the last few days, the air on my 02 Pacifica would only come out of the dash vents. The windshield would fog over and my feet would freeze off. No amount of pushing buttons and switching controls helped. Search past postings and this seems to be a problem with other members as well . Sometimes the doors (that are controlled by servo motors) just did not work.

Yesterday, I removed the negative battery cable and left it off for about 15-20 minutes. Hooked it back up and WOW -everything works as it is supposed to!! I guess removing the power resets some computer logic or something. Has anyone else had the same good luck and can anyone explain what really happened??

I am happy now!

It seems that with the new "computer controlled everything" vehicles ..... since about the 91 model year....... the first thing done is disconnect power and let the systems reset themselves.
