Hi all! I need some advice. I have an 04 Pacifica in my driveway that was abandoned by the previous owner. Originally I wanted it off the property but it looks really nice. I am thinking of a mechanics lien but, the battery is dead and I don't have the keys. Is this vehicle worth the effort. I have been reading some real horror stories about the ignition, etal. Should I do this or not?

 

In all honesty, you have no choice. Every state that I can think of REQUIRES proof of ownership to legally dispose of a vehicle.

That said, whether you keep it or have it hauled away as scrap, you may very well be asked to prove you own it.

As well..... A free Car???, If it blows up in a week, You still havent lost anything.
