Default Gas tank leak fix???

Some how I got a nice gouge in the gas tank of my 05 that allowed it to leak almost empty. Any idea on an easy do it yourself fix?

I had a nasty crack in a lawn mower tank that I fixed with an epoxy kit made for the purpose. It has lasted many years. It was so many years ago that I can't remember where I got the kit. Try googling "plastic fuel tank repair" and see what comes up. Bondo might make a kit for the purpose.

mmm did you by chance look up what code P2096 means? I did and well a fuel tank leak issue would not be one of them. I would suggest doing some research on the code first. If you dont have the time to do so then take it to a shop. I will offer assistance if your willing to put in the effort.
