GPS Antenna
Can anyone tell me where the GPS Antenna is in my 2004 Pacifica? I was in a car accident, spent $8,000 repairing it, and now am getting the message that my antenna is not connected. I'm afraid it may have been in a part which was replaced. Where or where is it!!!

The connector is behind the kick-panel trim on the passenger side, remove the kickpanel, and fold down the glovebox. (Im thinking its a blue connector. with a pink or red "LOCK")
The antenna itself is under the upper dash cover, toward the drivers side.
Replacement info says it is acceptable practice to cut both ends of the cable and abandon it in the harness, as long as the new cable is properly routed out of harms way.
With a repair bill like that.....I would be back at the body shop , letting them figure it out.

Thank you so much! Yes, I will be taking it back to the body shop, I just wanted to go in with the correct information in case they try to blame it on the accident. I don't see why the antenna would be disconnected if it is in behind the glove box, but who knows what they did at the shop! I really appreciate your help. Thank you again

Well.....Just keep in mind....The NAV module is in the rear, and the connector is up front......Which technically means nothing......
There is not an electronic module alive that knows the difference between a broken wire and an unplugged connector. Its very possible that the module itself may have been damaged and just cannot register the antenna signal....
Just think before you go in with Guns Blazing.....

Before I committed to fixing the car, I sat in the car and ensured the GPS module was working correctly, and also my Serius (sp?) radio. Both were fine. You make a good point about the anntenna & module. My fear is that they have thrown out the module when they were replacing parts. Yesterday, I drove 100' & my front bumper fell off. My confidence level in this body shop is at a serious low. I will be taking it back Monday, but have a feeling i'm in for a battle. Thanks so much for your info

Thrown the module away, pinched the wiring putting a trim panel back on, Didnt plug the lead back into the module, or any host of common silly mistakes that "JUST HAPPEN"....
Dont make yourself sick over it, and dont pick a fight until your faced with one......Just remeber fact #1...At the end of the day....HE HAS YOUR MONEY...
