Default Heater fan will not go off

The heater fan on my 2004 Pacifica will not go off. The fan and heater runs continually regardless of the temperature setting. The fan continues to run (with heat) with the power button off, however I believe it runs with a baffel of some sort closed. I tried unhooking the battery in an attempt to reset no success.
Help please before I melt!!!

Might be a bad body computer. The heater and body computer will throw error codes when something goes wrong, but youneed to hook it up to the Chrysler DRB III (diagnostic readout box) to get them. The run-of-the-mill OBD scanner can't read those. That means a trip to the dealer and a charge of about $85 to plug in their tool. They should apply the diagnosis fee to the repair cost if you choose to have it repaired there.
