I have found a 2004 Pacifica AWD for sale. I would like to now what to look for and pro's and con's these auto's have. I do not know what motor size and has about 166,000 miles thanks

 

Well, I bought one for my daughter with 180,000 miles and have not had any significant problems.


Things to watch out for that I had found from scanning the forums.


1. Engine cradle rust/rot. Probably more of a salt belt issue.
2. Engine mounts.
3. TPMS


At least from what I researched those are the two big issues besides the 3.5L engine not having a stellar record. I think the key has been that the one I bought was a one owner, highway miles and oil changes at 3,500 miles.


As with all used vehicles and especially the Pacifica because of all the goodies on it, check out all the bells and whistles to make sure all is working.


My daughter loves the car.
