Default Intermezzo amp

I have been looking for the factory amp for the intermezzo system. The dealer gave me 2 part numbers and does not know what the difference between them is. 5094000AC, and 4685876AI. Anyone know the difference between these? Thanks.

I am no expert but when I look up the AI number on chrysler parts sites, that is the one listed for a 2006 Pacifica. If I type in the AC number under any year pacifica, it does not show up. It is listed as a Chrysler part though at more cost than the other number. It just says audio amp in the listing.

Hey mrfixit, I am finally getting back to my projects on my car. You were alot of help a few months ago when I was working on my DVD project. Now I want to upgrade the stereo with the factory 8 channel amp. I think the AI number is correct, but the dealer gave me the AC # also. I am wandering if it will work, and if it is in some way superior. I have been trying for weeks to find the amp and housing used for cheap. No luck so far, I may pay the price for new.

Good luck with your quest, I have been trying to find a ucconect module for my wifes Town and Country and I can't find one used. New the cheapest is $450

As for the AMP, did you check all wiring 1st? or are you trying to add wires for Sub and center dash speaker? Or do they all have the center speaker? Give me a little more info on what you currently have. I ahve seen the amps on Ebay especailly seller lkqonline. I love these types of projects. I bought he VES DVD system for my RAM truck on ebay , now I need to install that... it's almost been a year. Keep me posted. I love to learn/help with these.

Also.. dealer can't tell you what difference is in the AMPS?

I checked and I have the dash speaker. I see a blank 4-wire plug I think is for the sub. So I know I have seven working speakers. Dealer ran my VIN and said the 6 channel amp 5082009AI is for my car. I can't find the # to the amp I have (lost my note). I have been watching ebay for awhile and all amps either say 6 channel or 100-120 watts. What year town and country you have? I'll keep an eye out for the module.

I have an 05 Limited. I think those from a 06 and 07 would work too. Actually, here is the list that uses this module. I am not sure about the other cars behind the Van. THe box must have 3 sockets for 3 connectors and is listed on bold below.

2004-2007 Mini-van's (easiest to use, as the harness is all one piece)
2004-2005 Ram pick ups
2004-2006 Liberty
2004 Grand Cherokee (VERY RARE)
These models still used the PCI bus, and newer models use CAN bus, and will not function in our cars.

Part numbers are:

Mirror: 5064017AD
Harness: 4869208AA
Module: 5064022AQ
Module to Radio harness: 4869206AB

I will keep on eye on Amps when I an doing my searches. Looks like the sub is a 4 wire connection according to the manual

1. Dark Green/Brown
2. Gray/white
3. Gray/Brown
4. Dark Green/white

This is for my 04 but I bet its same for yours

Thanks. Thats what I see in the back is a 4 wire plug. I just searched that module you need. Its $530.40. For that price it should make the van run on water.
