Key fob
2007 pac 3.8 , bought car not hearing run the only key guven me had no battery in it so I installed a battery . All functions work with key , lock/unlock , panic etc . When turn switch on The red light stays on and no crank over ! Before I tow to a dealer and get robbed how do I know if the key is the problem or something else ? Are the front mounted ECMs known to get wet ? Isn’t there any way around all this security crap ?

more then likely the skim module itself not the key. and no cant get around it if there was then why would the companies have it installed in the first place it would be point less and a waste of money.
