While changing the right taillight on my '04 Pacifica, I noticed the light wasn't as tight after the job as before changing the light. I ordered a grommet that the tab from the taillight goes into and figured changing the grommet would give it a tighter fit.

Here's where the problem is. I went to change out the grommet, but the thing wouldn't come out and after tearing it to pieces with plyers trying to remove it, it fell through the hole.

How can I get access to this area? I don't want to be driving around and hear that plastic grommet rattle around in there.
