Default New to the site Need help with 2006 Pacifica water leak

I've been trying to track the leak down for weeks. When it rains and the vehicle is sitting the driverside floor is soaked. I have extended the drain tube in the windshield wiper area, used seam sealer in the same area and even removed the driverside fender to seal any seams I found there. The vehicle has the original windshield, NO sunroof and the water always seems to collect in the driverside kick panel below the hood release handle. I have searched and most results point to sunroof or passenger side issues with the A/C box. Please help.....

Thanks

Chris

I have seen on other vehicles where the "cowl drain" would clog and allow water to pool in the cowl below the bottom edge of the windshield. On my '05 I can see the drain tube just behind the coolant reservoir, forward of the driver. It is about a 3/8 -1/2" diameter tube extending down about 8". Using a flashlight and looking down through the "grill" in the cowl above the tube, I can see the collection area and that it is clear. Perhaps you have debris there, and/or a clogged tube.

Good luck with it. Let us know if you fix it.
