Default Pacifica Valve Seats

Has anyone heard anything on the valve seats going bad on Pacificas. Sorry, the mechanic that mentioned this to me did not indicate which engine. Just wondering if there is any validity to this. Thanks.

On the 3.5L yes there were some issues wth play in the guides that would lead to the seats getting damaged.

Do your car have a misfire that he can't figure out?

No, mine is fine. I have an '07 with the 4.0. He just mentioned it to me not knowing which engines were having issues.

4.0L had some problems too. 4.0 is just a morph of 3.5. Chrysler did this way too much with the engines. They had a 3.2 years ago along with the 3.5 which were the same then they dropped the 3.2 and made the 4.0 while still making the 3.5 and putting it in other cars. Funny thing is they had a 3.8 and 4.0 for your car that year.....why?? lol
