Default Rattle in the rear

Ok I'm really flustered by this I have a persistant rattle in the rearend my pac...its a 2004 with awd I cant find anything loose like the spare rear traling arms, exhaust or the like. It sounds like its on the drivers side anyone have any ideas??? I had a rear link on that side break a couple years ago had it replaced no issues since.

Have someone drive the vehicle on a road that will continually give the rattle, while you search out the noise in the rear. Had any work done on the vehicle lately?

I get the feeling that you think it's exhaust. I would check all the heat shields.

I've had problems with the jack. Pull that out and see if your rattle goes away.

Years ago my father-in-law's Pontiac station wagon had a rattle in the back. We found a big glob of solder loose in the rear fender behind the wheel opening.

its sounds heavy....like almost something hitting the floorboards. I've thumped the exhaust while under the car cant find it, i think maybe a weld in the converter or the muffler but I should be able to hear it then with a wiggle of the exhaust no luck there. well I keep telling my wife when it falls off I'll fix it....LOL
