I have a 2017 Pacifica and 3 young kids. I want to install my Diono car seat forward facing so that it's flush with the middle seat. To do that, I need to remove the headrest, which is attached.
I got through most of the steps. However, when I went to pull the headrest out, I found there was a metal ring (almost like a washer) attached to one of the posts, and I can't figure out how to remove it. Any help or suggestions? Has anyone else done this?
Pictures below for reference. A close up of the metal ring This shows the ring at the bottom, lined up with the metal post at the top. I can't remove the headrest without removing this metal ring.
