Smile Replacing AC Fan on 2004 pacifica

My fan has gotten really loud. At first is was only when it was on recirculate, but now it is all the time. Does anyone know how to get the fan out. There are a number of screws around the housing, and I simply cant reach the one next to the firewall. Is there an easy way to remove the entire housing so that you can then remove the portion around the fan?

I removed the fan, cleaned it out, and no more noise. Now, the recirculation door doesn't move. In fact, I pressed the button with the controller lose just to see if it moved at all; it did not.
