Default Roof Trim Help!

Hi, I am new in this forum and I have 2007 Base model Pacifica like the one in the picture same color but mine came with the aluminun wheels, I got it brand new in January with only 13 miles now it has 3500 and so far I only had trouble with two things the A/C blower was replaced due to an annoying noise coming from it, and the other is the black trim on the roof left side, the one that meets with the windshiled (see picture) is lifting I live in Miami and it gets really hot if I pressed down it stays there for a few hours and then it lifts again there is a 1/4" gap the right side is flush no problem with that, I have been twice in the delaer they "fixed" only to see the same problem again I see the piece is attached with some double sided tape is this ok? anyone else with the same issue? thanks.

The gap can leak under the windshield and rust could have a field day. I would suggest calling the Service manager and telling him or her, what's happened and ask him to replace the whole strip. Heck it's under warranty! If you don't get results call 800992 1997 and speak with Customer Care. C C is there to help in such circumstances. I guess you have the 3.8 unless you have the AWD. What mpg do you get?

Thanks for the tip, I get 16-17 MPG in the city it is a 3.8, when I got mine I aslo saw the touring but it was a lot more expensive than the base model I got mine for $20000 brand new in January it is a 2007, I was looking for a used car and all the cars we saw were in the 17000 to 19000 price range the dodge Nitro one of them and we decided to go for the PAC, what I really like the most is the side airbags, knee airbag and safety rating from the NHTSA, also the TPMS, ESP and confort ride.
