Default Semi - sweet success story.

Got my fifth factory mag & tire for a spare and for tire rotation.

Ebay acquisitions.

The alloy wheel with the TPMS in very good condition for $24.

The new Michelin Energy tire for $60.

The only bad part was when I got the tire mounted I found what appeared to be a 5/64" (.078) "drilled hole" into the shoulder of the tread and the faint yellow chalk outline where someone else had noted it.

The insertion of a plug & now it is running on the rear of the Pac.Not bad for $80. when the tires are almost $200 each and the wheels seem to start at $120.

And this will fit into the spare well of a car that came with a mini-spare? It seems I heard someone state that the spare well must be made for a full size at the factory.

I'll leave the factory spare under the vehicle for emergencies and use the add'l wheel & tire as a backup. It also will make the rotation routine much easier.
