Default Sirius radio/When will it expire?

Bought an 07 Pacifica March of 08. Came with Sirius Satellite radio. I have never heard from them or paid a bill of any type. Just thought that the service should expire at some point. I can't imagine it keeps working for free? I thought maybe after the car was a year old that it would stop working or someone would contact us to see if we want to keep the service.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks.

Should expire one year after activation if not renewed. Thats one year after activation, not necessarily the same date you bought the vehicle.

Did you activate it after you bought the car? Didn't they give you an online account to check status etc.? Have you tried contacting them? Maybe in the merge with XM they are either behind in getting notices out or something like that.

Default Expire

You will be the first to know, one of these days it will quit and the display will show you the phone number to call to renew the service. Mine quit a couple of times before the year was up and the dealer had to call them to get it going again. I did not renew as we only use the car a little less than 4 hours per week.

We have an '07 touring Pac. After the original free subscription ran out I opted for a year. Recently I expirenced what the previous poster said. Message that I was to call a number to renew. I called and after a bit of converstion and them looking up the account I had to go to the vehicle to update the thing. No reasonable explanation was given for the disruption of service except I lost the satalite. Well that happens frequently (just drive into a car wash) and the entire service does not end. So... I don't know what happened. We do enjoy the music very much and travel a lot so it is important to us.
