Default transmission slipping

hi everyone. i was wondering if someone can help me. i have a 95 pacifica and when i shift to drive or reverse, it doesn't move right away. it feels like your in neutral but when you give it a little gas, it kicks in to drive. it seems to be happening more when its cold outside. any fixes you can recommend? thanks!

You say it kicks into drive, sounds like linkage... My 05' is having slipping issues too. But mine is from what the mechanic says, the trans computer... Not to sure but he is gunna replace the computer and change the filter and oil in the tranny too.

Sounds like your oil might be low.
