Default Turn signal clicker

Is there a way to make the turn signal indicator clicker louder ? Mine is difficult to hear at higher speeds , with the windows open due to road noise, or if the radio is up more than a whisper.
No, I'm not old or hard of hearing..

I don't believe you can change the volume on the clicker. Not totally sure but it doesn't seem to be something that can be altered.

I have been told that the device that clicks is called a Flasher. It is under the dashboard but I can't find it. Any clues??
