I have a 2006 touring edition 3.5V6 I want to upgrade the dash cluster by replacing it with the one with navigation and also headlight with the xenon hid lights. Are they just plug and play and install easily or will they not function? Am I wasting time and money by looking into getting those replacements?

 

the navigation is outdated. It uses a CDRom drive (not GPS) for navigation. You're better off using your phone or tablet. I have the 2008 Touring AWD and I replaced my headlights bulbs with these because it's way cheaper with the same results and besides - it took 10min

I also replaced my fog light bulbs with LEDs. They're so bright I can practically use them without turning on my headlights. Forget HID's they are so "yesterday" LEDs are the way to go.No additional equipment or wiring to buy and a hassle-free installation. All you do s replace the halogen bulb with a LED replacement. Simple.
