I have an 07 Pacifica. 4.0 liter 6 speed AWD.

If I maintain a 50mph speed on any road my pacificia likes to pulsate. It's not in the tires as the ride is smooth. The feeling comes from the motor or transmission like it wants to shift but it can't make up its mind. The feeling is very small but still noticable by myself and my wife. My wife describes it as the car is trying to accelerate but then backs down in a the same second.

My car is about ready to go over the 36k and I would like to get this fixed if possible.

Is this a TC issue?

 

I think I'd start by plugging in and looking for codes first. There could be several different things that could create this sort of experience. Codes will tell you if there is anything "computer" related that is acting up!

 

Bought 08 Pacifica with 1000 miles and had the motormounts changed out at 5000 which corrected some symptoms. But pulsating feeling around 50-55 MPH has continued. Dealer says no problems that's how Pacifica's act. I am so upset at Chrysler.
