Default Wireless headphone question

I have an 06 Pacifica Touring with the 6 disc changer and a single CD player. The vehicle did not come with the video screen on the roof but I was told that all the wiring is there under the headliner if I wanted to put the screen in. Does anyone know if this is a fact? I'd like to know for sure before I go cutting up the liner. I also bought a pair of the wireless headphones and remote for the stereo CD/DVD player. The remote works fine, but I can't get the headphones to work. Does anyone know if they need to be calibrated or synced to the system somehow?? The LED light comes on on the headphones, and the headphone icon shows on the player, but I can't get any audio through them. I've tried everything in the owners manual, nothing works. Help!
