http://www.vallejo-chrysler.com/Chry...dr-Wgn-Limited

What would be awesome is if they made one with the SRT engine.

Definatly not! In 2003 and 2004 DC offered a High Output GT version that (in 2003) had 215hp and (in 2004) 220hp. From late 2004 on, they had 230hp. & you are correct in your wish, they are the SRT-4 engine. The only differences being the intercooler size and piping, intake manafold, different heads, & a little bit different ecu tuning. See, the SRT-4 only came in a 5speed manual, where as the PT Cruiser comes in choices of an automatic, an autostick automatic and a getrag 5speed in the GT's.
The 180 horsepower Pt's that you speak of are in some of the limited' s and some of the automatic GT's (i believe).

I don't think the 180hp engine was ever in the GT. And the GT was offered in 2005 as well, wasn't it?

Some errors in the above replies. The GT cars debuted in '03 at 215hp, for '04 thru '05 they were rated at 220hp, and for '06 and after, 230hp (and never 180hp). The automatic GTs do not share the same tranny with any of the other series; the GT autosticks employ and extra disc in each of the clutches to handle the extra torque. Beginning in 2008, the GT series and the convertible are no longer offered by Chrysler, and the 180hp (turbo lite) engine is now only available as an option in the Limited trim series. That engine will run on regular gas, unlike the GTs, which require 91(+) octane fuel. I own an '05 GT with autostick, ABS and virtually every other option - and I wouldn't trade it for any car costing under $75,000 (and very few above that).
