I'm not very knowledgeable about cars but can do some simple things. So when the cigarette lighter (yes I'm a smoker) quit working I figured I could just look it up in a CHILTON'S, online, on YOUTUBE etc. Wrong. So here I am. I have a 2002 Touring Edition PT Cruiser. I have changed the fuse ( yes I found those) but that didn't help. It isn't listed as a cigarette lighter but falls under the heading of "power outlet". Of the 3 power outlets in the car this one is meant to be used for either purpose. It is on the floorboard console in front of the gear shift between the cup holders. So.....can someone tell/show me how to get under there and change this out? I have read that if it's not the fuse then probably in the wiring. HELP.
