I'd like to purchase a Heads Up Display (HUD) unit for my 2002 PT Cruiser that taps into the OBD plug to get vehicle data, like water temp, speed, etc.. Some HUD makers say all OBD plugs after 1996 are "OBD2" and will work, but others say there was a change in 2004 and earlier cars cannot support the OBD2 plug-in needed for the HUD unit. Anyone have any experience adding a HUD unit on a 2002 Chrysler, PT Cruiser or otherwise?
