I didn't see this elsewhere so any help would be appreciated. Stepsons PT Cruiser got him to work but the windows would not go up. Get there and it won't start. Hook up jumper cables won't jump. Have it towed home. The next day it starts. With a crappy meter the battery is charging around 14 volts with sporadic drops to 1.5 volts. Shut it down start it up battery doesn't go below 12 volts while cranking. Starts have him drive a bit then park it. Shut it off and it won't start. The radio and blower motor will not work with the key in ON position. NO headlights or instrument lights either. All this with the door open. You shut the door the instrument lights work. Open the door the instrument lights go out. He had some problems with it stalling out while driving before. I'm thinking ignition. But looking for advice before we get to play with it this weekend.
