Hello Everyone, Although I have owned 3 PT Cruisers this question involves my current ride. Car is a 2007 PT Cruiser convertible, problem is I cant get the rear seats to fold down. When I pull the release handles in the trunk they will slightly move but the seat latching mechanism does not release and no noise is heard . As per the PO the seats have never been folded.I assume the latches are corroded /rusted in place. I fear that if I keep pulling on the release handles I will break them. Is there some trick I'm missing ? If not how can I get access to the latches to lube. them? Any and All Information will be helpful. Thanks Don Davidson Fort Myers Fl / Uniontown Oh.
