Default 41TE delay into 1st

Anyone have a couple ideas of what would cause a delay of a few seconds (3-5 sec) into 1st gear when shifting from rev to drive, or maybe even park to drive?

The driver mostly notices it when backing out of the drive way, but thinks it may do it when starting initially driving forward from park too.

It's a 41TE 2002, with about 110k miles.

Someone mentioned performing a quick learn might fix it, but that doesn't seem to make sense for a shift initially into 1st.

Any leads would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You could have either a leaking o-ring seal on the LR accumulator cover or the front pump. Did you ck for any transmission codes?
