Question Engine shutoff and won't start and Brake Pedal Hard to Press

I was driving my 2006 PT Cruiser 2.4L non turbo home from work and was waiting at a light and the engine just shut off without any warning. When I tried to restart the engine it turn over as if to start then seemed to disengage the motor
and just not turn over and the Brake Pedal is now rock hard when you step on it. When you turn off the key and attempt to restart the car you can feel the motor turn over maybe once or a half a turn then nothing. All the lights are lit and the battery has a full charge. The stranger part of all of this is that even though the car cut off and would not restart, there was no Check Engine Light on. I hooked up my OBDII reader anyway and got the following 4 codes back:

P1603
P0016
P0340
U0101

I've replaced the Camshaft Position Sensor (Code P0016) and the car still won't start.
Any one ever experience this or figured it out ? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

the brake pedal is normal you dont have engine vacuum to make the brake booster work, Check the timing belt does it move when you try and start it?
