Default Engine swap question

Hi Everyone,

I am Erik and new to the forum.
I am considering doing a engine swap on a 2003 PT with the non turbo. I have the chance to pick up a 2003 PT engine with the Turbo and manual transmission. Is it possible to do the engine and transmission swap? Being the PT it will be going into is a non turbo with a automatic transmission.

Thanks for your time and help.
Erik

Todays Electronic Vehicles make engine swaps a little more complicated than just a bolt in swap. Considerations such as Powertrain Control Module (Eng/Trans combo), Body Control Module, Sentry Key Immobilizer etc are all factors that need to be considered. These may be different for Auto Vs Manual, Turbo vs Non Turbo.
I am not personally versed in PT Cruisers may fine more help here PT Cruiser Forum
