Question How to disable chime 07 Cruiser

My son is autistic and has a bad reaction to the chime in my car. From what I understand, the chime is in the instrument cluster. Can someone provide a schematic of the board or tell me where it is located? Thank you.

I think he wants to disable it completely.

Sometimes he will unbuckle or open the door, which sets off the chime. That is why I want to completely disable.

actually, nix all that. you're going to need to tear the cluster apart to permanently disable the chime.

I have opened the cluster but do not know what component produces the chime. Does anyone know which component is the "chime transducer?"

take pictures and post them.
i'd guess it'd look like every other buzzer out there; something round with a metal disc visible through a central opening.
