01 pt replaced head gasket put it all back together will start to crank but shut down and the tach pegs out, can anybody help me out, thanks

I had to go to my doctor the other day and get a valium rx because of CHRYSLER. On 4/12 my PT cruiser would not acclerate and could only, slowly be drive past 40 MPH. It has been 6 weeks and the motor mounts and many engine parts have been replaced by our mechanics and now has been at the dealership to be fixed for 5 weeks, new computer, whole car rewired, now as of last thur new cam/ cam shaft 2 specialist have been brought in and on from LA to Phx! The pay off is 8,000.00 dollars and I think is almost at that! We asked for a rental and chrysler does not provide that! I called Chrysler fianancial and was directed to the goodwill dept. They said they would pay for either a rental car (250.00 a week midsize) or our monthly car payment of 428.40. Of course much paperwork was involved for this to get to the company. The paperwork was sent almost a month ago. Now
Chrysler financial is calling us saying they have nothing to do with the goodwill dept and our car can be broke for 3 months or idefinate and we will have to continue to pay and no effort except severe harassament is given to us at this time. We have been diligent with our car payments and maintenance in these hard times yet we are being raked over the coals. Our PT cruiser is used only for work for my husband and I and I do have to drive to a couple of business a couple days a week and I work part time, My husband works 14hrshiftsx3 days a week less than 20-30 minute drive for both of us. The car is almost 4 years old and barely 40,000 miles and never driven out of this state or more than a 100 miles from our house! 2 days after the warrantly expired it broke and is now unfixable. Our Jeep Laredo, 38,000 3 years old the computer for the ac went out and chrysler wanted 900.00 to repair. Also, the hydraulics for the hood and the back door do not work as well and we can't even address that right now!!! Every week something is replaced on the PT cruiser and no end in sight!! We having been renting a car, borrowing cars, going without. It is very stressful mentally, professionally, and personally. Our lives have been affected in all areas. We are not a one car family and pay for 2 cars!!! I am now writing a consumer complaint against Chrysler to our State Attorney General to see what can be done. This is our last resort. We qualify under Arizona lemon law for a case with a lawyer against chrysler for some sorta of recoup or something. However, because of the bankruptcy, the lemon lawyer stated, quote"I can not take the case because the other cases I have dealt with recently and won the checks have bounced". We went to a consumer lawyer for a second opionion and no lawyer will touch this case because of the bankruptcy. We were told to "cut our losses". How, to continue to pay for a car that cannot be fixed??????? My husband has emailed a letter to Chrysler pres re: our situation, quality of the cars, customer service, etc. No response whatso ever, no one wants to help or hear anything! Yet, Chrysler can cry to the President for a bail out. My husband and I work in Healthcare at big hospitals(several) and many, many people around the valley and also snowbirds from many states know of this story and word is getting around. We do not need to say much because Chrysler has hung themselves as it is. When I tell people about all the work, specialists, etc they ask"what kind of car is it?" I tell them a PTCRUISER, response"Well, there is your first problem" I am embarassed to own this car and now embarassed because of the bankruptcy and have no recourse, help, and financially being raked over the coals. Good luck PT cruiser owners! My mothers neighbor, same exact problem (elderly lady) and only 3 years old and the whole computer had to be replaced a nd the car is okay.
