Chrysler PT CruiserOffering a sedan and 2 door convertible, both of which offer a naturally aspirated or turbocharged engine, this car has something to offer everyone
cannot find what I call RPO code label, Chrysler I believe calls it a SPID list (service part ID.list ) I had the dealer in the area print a build sheet for our PT (2008 wagon base) using the vin. So, here is where I looked so far: inside glove box, took out the glove box and looked on the outside of it, also on all four doors -hinge side and latch side-, inside console, pulled the jack door cover off and looked inside it, It's snowing and cold here so will put in in the garage tomorrow and pull the interior panels off of the rear hatch door as I heard they sometimes hide them there, and also saw online that they might have put it under the carpet in the very back of the car (actually truck) these were put in a spot were a tech ao parts person could get at it to locate code so that correct parts could be ordered. Any ideas?? or am I just old and blind!
I have had Goldstein Chrysler already pulled a build sheet, it is just that what I have read says there still could be a "sticker some where on the car, which I found out is really a truck! For all those reading this , I have also Found a few ( I have had great luck) used parts, salvage yards, etc. for these vehicles. both in Utah. Utah Auto recycle, N. Logan UT and South Bountiful auto parts in Woods cross UT. I have a radio on its way from Utah salvage yard (no.2) my code should be REF, which I have not verified back looking. Got a rear power window switch and bezel assembly from yard no.1 have owned 29 different vehicles over my 73 years on this planet, and I have no real reason that I can explain but to do love driving this PT! It just fits! added a picture of a few others. Took a bit to find a Ram i wanted ( 5.7, RWD, Reg. Cab, Long Box, 6 speed. 3.55s were the basics) hate the vanilla white color, will have someone pin stripe some life into it! the 66 is our "street Car" main Stuff= 689HP @ 6,000RPM and, 675lb.ft. @4500 so it's a bit "spunky". No pictures of the PT yet just a plain Jane silver basic one.
