I have a PT cruiser on a Y reg, now the wishbone needs replacing for the M.O.T so i took it to a garage and they said that they would need to support the engine to change it? I thought that these bolted on to the chassic has anyone done one before and can you advise me please

 

So you do not need to support the engine as I placed a jack under it but on just touching and when I removed the wishbone nothing moved result.
