01 T&C Radio Loses Power when Switch to CD

Default 01 T&C Radio Loses Power when Switch to CD

I have an '01 T&C with the combo tape/CD stereo. I have the 4-disc CD changer. Lately, if I try to switch from radio to CD, the whole radio unit loses power. I saw a post in search to remove and reinsert the IOD fuse. This resolved an earlier issue with the flashing equalizer levers. The radio is fine as long as I don't switch modes to CD.

Is there a problem with the main radio unit? The IOD fuse looks fine, and I've even replaced it with no change in results.

sounds like a board problem within the radio.The iod fuse does'nt know what mode your using on the radio. factory radios are overpriced.i would go with after market radio make sure you buy the wiring kit.makes life easier.moe
