Default 05 t&c hitch suspension question

So I just bought this van. I have an 03 t&c with hitch also. The 03 seems to be higher body seems to be higher than the 05. I'm thinking this is for towing. These are both 2 inch receivers. I looked under the 03 and didn't notice any springs or air shocks. Tires are the same size on both. So do you think the 03 has a different shock? The 03 is a LXI. O5 is a touring. The 03 looks to be a factory install but not sure. So any pointers? I don't haul much weight snowmobile trailer with 2 sleds sometimes. Small 14 foot boat and 4x8 trailer. I'm thinking the extra height on the 03 is for towing but I'm not sure if the 05 is actually set up for towing without the rear being pulled down. So hopefully that all makes sense. Thanks

Some cars have self levelling dampers and are recognised by being bigger in diameter compared to a normal shock. Check out your two cars and you may see a difference.
