08' T&C Key Fob Programming w/1 key (data link connector jump)
Hi Everyone,
I have one key fob for my 08' T&C. It no longer unlocks, locks, or opens doors, but it does start the van fine (no idea why it stopped working, replaced batteries and still won't work). I ordered a replacement fob and since I don't have a 2nd fob to program my new one I was wondering if jumping my data link connector will work. For reference, this was the web page that I am referencing.

Thanks for all your help!

That is for the older style remotes.
Unless your remote looks like the one in the picture on that page, it will not work.
If the remote and the key are one piece, you will need two that are already programmed to program a third.
Get blank unprogrammed ones from EBay or Amazon. Have the dealer program one of them, and you can program the third yourself.
I bought two, and programmed the third myself, and buried it in the car, in case I ever lose or break one.
You can get blanks cheap online. Programming the one is where it gets expensive.
That is why I bought the extra one, so I won't have to pay the dealer again.
