Not sure I am in the correct section.
I am trying to find a feed of other owners that have high mileage vehicles. My 1999 grand voyager 2.5 TD is on its way to 269,000 miles, I have had it since 2002 and it had 140,000 on the clock with only the seat and steering wheel with excessive wear. Does anyone have a high mileage vehicle that has had little problems over the years in the face of what problems others have had.
My little boat engined machine has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned.

 

Having had well over 100 vehicles since I started at the age of 16, I say most of it with reliable high-mileage vehicles is sheer luck. If it was built right in the first place, was serviced properly in the second, and had done only long distance motoring in the third, you'll get a reliable motor.
You've only to scan the web to see how many people spend their hard-earned on a NEW motor, only to get beset with continual problems. I.e., a Friday afternoon motor.
Stick with your reliable motor as long as it keeps going.
