One of these faults or facts on GVs is the handbrake efficiency, just to quote only one. If you look at Quinteq's contributions on this, I think he would call it a "fault" first and a "fact" second. The main thing here is what it costs to fix these "errors" shall we say, and get it through the MOT. Maybe we should call some of these vehicles "Grand Voyager Costabomba".
Sorry, maybe I'm being facetious. Couldn't resist it. My own GV is still not quite fault, fact, or error free. 'Suppose I can live with it.

You were doing so good then you lost me there. dandyd's post sounded like a rendition of facts. His only opinion stated concerned design then "overall" praise though I'd disagree with the latter considering all he's had to do. I have a much older 96 and haven't done half of what he's dealt with.

BTW - L100 is around $150 USD. Egads, but then it is a Jag. Someone told me Jags are made in India now. True? What's that all about?

Motor bike sidecars in Blackpool was the start of Jag. Jag was then Ford then and now is Tata, and as you say assembled in India. The new XE [2.0-litre diesel powered XE capable of beating the 4 litres per 100 km barrier (72 mpg UK: 60 mpg US] comes back to be UK built in the Land Rover factory in Solihull next year and is something to behold. BTW because of my pension rights I get a whole 20% discount on any new Jag or Land / Range Rover, with a direct telephone line to god if any main dealer will not show me the courtesy of the whole instant no quibble 20%.
