Looked the air filter and got intimidated by it. Doesnt look as simple or easy to get into like my 1997 Mercedes c250. Do you need to uncrew it at the pipe to the right?
Sorry for asking what would be very basic questions but my knowledge of car mechanics was close to zero till i started coming here and other forums |
Lately I replace my airfilter for the first time and it was a 5 minute job.
Its fully self explaining when you look at it closely. You can also clean the tubes and the "filter" behind the airfilter, thats the EGR thingy I think? |

speaking of filters, what do you guys use? I seen some wix filters (air, oil & fuel) but then mopar are original parts so tempted to get them. same spec GV as you vmaxxer
2002 2.5crd ltd oh and always love reading the debates on oil type, I personally have just bought some 10w40 syn as stated to use in my manual :) I am not going to argue with what Chrysler have written in my manual for the diesel engine I have |
Thanks guys
Now where is the fuel filter lol |
Ramps, Ramps, have you got any bricks or 8x2 boards or even bits of scaffolding boards. Make your own ramps, bricks give you infinitesimal heights. A board along bricks give you any length. Your car can ALL be inches to feet in the air and not just the front wheels..
You'll be building bridges next.. |
