Default 2.8crd voyager shudder.

I have a grand voyager 2.8 crd that vibrates and shudders over 40mph ive had new tyres tracked ballanced new wheel bearings engine mounts front end all checked at 3 different garages ,the shudder stops when i stop accelerating and the car changes gear auto very smooth no cluncking please help..

Have the transmission mounts checked out again. It's somewhat hard to see when they go bad but the slightest 1" separation of rubber to the cast iron will do this to you. I had to replace my front mount around 160k for a very similar issue.

Yea I had to strategically wedge a prybar in and use a seal puller (pointy metal spike) from the driver side to lift up on the middle of the rubber to see the part that was bad. I didn't believe that was the problem but I couldn't find anything else...as soon as I replaced it it stopped shuddering while accelerating. It was jumping hard when you first put it in gear too toward the end, but I had let it go for quite a while before I checked into it, I was afraid it might of had something to do with the transmission Haha..

Still ongoing taking over my life ha its looking like a drive shaft 2nd one already coming tomorrow so will keep you posted,many thanks for ideas..

Yes it was a drive shaft got overlooked at 3 garages all perfect now many thanks for help..
