Default 2000 Town and Country Limited Speaker Connections

Hi folks. I'm working to replace all 8 of my speakers in my 2000 Town and Country Limited Edition van. I can't seem to find a wiring diagram on the speakers.

For instance, I take out a speakers and there are 6 wires plugged into it. I just need to know which ones are positive and which ones are negative for each of the speakers.

Anybody know where I can get this info?

Sorry I don't have a 2000 diagram but you say 6 wires? Speakers have 2 wires(usually) Does yours have the amps on them?

Do you have the speakers? If not Crutchfield usually includes wire adapters and clear instructions when you buy from them.

I guess you don't know much about Town and country minivans. They have power amplified speakers, any fix-it guy would know that. The rear speakers have a separate tweeter so that main speaker has 6 wires. So if you don't know the actual answer, don't waste their time.

Oh and I did a 30 sec google search and found this picture.

22,

I guess you are directing this at me since you did not specify. I don't appreciate your tone and simply asked a few questions as I don't know how much Mellowtoad knows or does not know. Just like you don't know who much I know or what experience I have. It was late in the evening when I posted so maybe I missed the "2000" in his post. If my attempt to help Mellowtoad harmed him in anyway (speakers have 2 wires comment), my apologies, it was clearly not my intent.

I do know that Chrysler (not just the minivans) used amps on the speakers of their high end systems but at some point, they switched to a single main amp (4th gen?). I have only seen pictures of the amps on the back of the speakers and have seen people run into trouble when they swap speakers out. Maybe Mellow and myself could have been a little more clear with our questions but as for wasting time, I think you are wrong. All we try to do is help people here and sometimes it takes a little more questioning to get the correct answers. BTW.. can't read the diagram you posted no matter how big I make it.

I never cut you down for your responses so please don't do it to me.

Fixit
