Default 2002 Voyager CRD heated seats

My heated seats havent worked since I have owned the car...anyone got a good place to start? The switches seem to work, the lights come on but nothing happens.

Winter is coming fast and would be good if a simple fix

Have your dealer check your VIN # for a recall on the heated seat elements.

I've got the same issue, with the same car.

Was there a recall for these in the UK? Is there anywhere online we can check these recalls?

Cheers,
Steve.

No recall for heated seats in the UK on a voyager.

Hi Merlin,

What are we checking the heat elements resistance for?
Is the element a usual thing to pack up and is it easy to remove and replace?

Thanks,
Steve.

I've also just checked the service manual, and it would seem that the heated seats are each on a different circuit. Is there a common place (fuse, relay, etc) that would stop both seats working at the same time?

Thanks,
Steve.
