2003 T&C, 3.8, 4-speed, 152000 miles, trans filter changed in November

When taking off from a stop the trans bucks/shutters between 1st & 2nd gear. This doesn't happen all the time. Only if I drive off normally. When I take off faster or slower than normal it shifts fine. Also, if I have the cruise control set at about 40 mph on flat ground the trans can't decide if it wants to be in 3rd or 4th gear. It changes often, every 20 - 30 seconds 3rd to 4th, 4th to 3rd.

Searched the site and want to know if replacing the "Automatic Trans. Solenoid" will resolve this problem? Is that on the front of the trans?

"trans filter changed in November" .... and you used ATF+4 fluid right?

The solenoid pack is on the front of the transmission. Beyond that I'd have to flip a coin.

Changed filter and fluid ATF+4, a bit better...
I bought in the USA (trough EBAY) a new solenoid pack, but i haven't put it in the car yet...
