Question 2004 GV driveshaft? oil leak

Not really sure if this is the driveshaft (Showing my poor knowledge on the mechanical side of a car/engine here!) but it's one of the rods (the main one?) that goes to the centre of the passenger side wheel.
This side does make a slight clunk on certain turns/bumps, and I'm getting the odd few drops of oil on the driveway. Nothing really huge, just a few drops and it appears to mainly be just after driving a few drips afterwards and then it stops.

Checking underneath, I can see where it is, and from checking above and in the engine bay I don't believe this is leaking from anywhere else and onto this item.

Can anyone identify it, and confirm/deny what the issue is here and what I need to get checked/sorted?

Thanks as always everyone.

Andy this definitely is not an April fools one is it, Drive shaft !!!!!
Pic shows Steering gaiter with leak, yes renew and hope steering gear is not on way out.
Clunk, I would say is anti-roll bar/swaybar rubbers. Or links.
Shouldn't cost much.

Not an april fools, when it comes to the proper mechanics I'm not hot on it at all!
That's why I need you guys ;-)

Steering Gaiter sounds like it makes sense, I've had another msg on twitter suggesting CV joint too possibly?
Either way I'll get it into the garage and get it checked out, it's in on Monday for a quote for the cambelt, pulleys and water pump so will get them to take a look too.

Ah, and the clunk, yes I remember now from old threads on anti-roll bar/swaybar rubbers, good call, thanks!

Yes well the gaiter maybe on the side the wheel has to come off for doing the cambelt anyway.

Quinton Hazell [amongst others] do steering rack gaiters for your model - about a tenner.
