Default 2005 grand voyager le

ambient traffic noise is heard inside of vehicles passing from other lanes with all doors and windows closed while driving at 0-40kms speed and while vehicle at stationery. is this normal i have drove the similar vehicle and found the noise level is same. but the question is it tolerable to have noise inside your Brand new grand voyager le,or it has some thing npt normal, please post your valuable comments with technical justification, (eg: door panel materials , body design etc...) thanks!!!!

My 2000 T&C LE does same thing. 5-star dealer tech could not "hear" the noise and wind whistling thru the gap at highway speed when we took it back second time. Of course they didn't test drive it when we were there with them. I am guessing it has to do with the A/C or heater blower going and pressurizing the inside while air flow past the vehicle at highway speed causing low pressure outside. Thus, the door tends to push outwards at weakest points.

They adjusted my doors soon after we bought it off the lot. This worked for a while. It hasn't returned to the point it is obnoxious. We have 69,000 on it now.

In other words, it is a design, not manufacturing, problem IMHO (as an engineer).
