Hi everybody, I'm new to the forums and this is my first post, so I thought I'd just say Hey! first of all.

My problem is, the my passenger side power door hangs up when opening or closing. If you try to open it. It engages and attempts to open, but when it gets to the curve in the track, it stops and won't go any further. Same thing on closing. If the door is manually opened all the way, when you use any of the power door buttons (remote or on vehicle) the door engages and starts closing, but when it gets to the curve in the track it stops. Has anybody encountered this, or have any thoughts on how to fix it?

Hi Yes I have seen this before, sounds like a broken wire in the wire track along the bottom of the door.

 

definitly the wiring harness for the power slding door.
