Question 2005 T&C overheating

This has happened numerously after only 2 to 3 miles of driving with or without A/C on. I am new in town and took it to a local place and this is what was put on my receipt:
No coolant leak
add antifreeze
checked cooling fan
water pump
thermostat
road test: no overheat or leaks.

Now 3 weeks later it overheats constantly. Also, maybe another clue, the remote door locks don't work. Could there be a fuse that needs to be replaced that could affect both the heating sensor and the locks?
I don't know what to do. I am alone and I don't owe any $ on this van and am looking for work.
What advice does anyone have about the repair? I am going to take it to the mechanic in the morning and then walk home.
Any suggestions?
THANKS!
Arti
