2008 Grand Voyager 2.8 crd
Car won't turn over but has brand new battery and is charged up . Seems like a flat battery , with the clunk , clunk but won't turn over . Just before this there wasn't any dash lights but still new battery , can't find my multimeter but when checked a few weeks ago , alternator output 14 v and battery same . Where do i start ? I have taken this car to about 6 auto-electricians and none have helped ! I'm on my own with this one .Gonna check to see if anyone has had similar problem .
Well as electrics are a nightmare , this fault has developed .Used some jump leads to connect battery earth to engine and noticed that horn below left headlight had become loose , so connected that to earth and it started . I've learned not to count chickens , so i took the jump leads off and it still started . After stopping and starting 5/6 times , made the mistake of counting them blasted chickens . Took a ride into town , stopped it , went into shop , came out and got a clunking from rear of car .I had learned that if i opened rear door it would start . Now sometimes starts sometime doesn't , left wing mirror opens untill it hits the door and the auto lock doesn't work . Onward and upward . I thing a solution invoves a gallon of 4* and a box of matches . Have had to hide rope and sharp knives !
